Members of our NextGen AUSComGames Squad commence competition in the ISSF Junior World Cup event in Suhl, Germany today. This is the third ISSF Junior World Cup in Rifle-Pistol-Shotgun and the first for 2016.

The German Shooting Sport Federation will host the first Youth World Championship in rifle and pistol in Suhl in 2017, and this event is a great opportunity to gain experience on the competition site.

Shooting Australia acknowledges assistance and funding provided by the Australian Commonwealth Games Association that helps us to send athletes to events like the Junior World Cup in Suhl. The NextGEN AUSComGames program has been designed by the ACGA to provide assistance to those junior athletes who have been identified as potential medal winners at the 2017 Commonwealth Youth Games or at the 2018 or 2022 Commonwealth Games.

We wish our athletes the best of luck at Suhl.
